My intentions were good. I was really retired in 2018 when I started this blog, and we were really going to travel. Then we were invited to a family open house at a company called Crystal Group, and I was hooked. So, I stepped out of retirement and went to work there for a little over five years. (There is WAY more to this story, but I will save it for a different format). I retired in February - for the second (and last) time! (Don't think they didn't want me to stay, or work part time on contract. It was not easy to leave, but we want to travel, and I was really ready to be retired.) So here we are - retired again, and ready to pick up where we left off six years ago...
(Ok, it's not like we haven't traveled since I went back to work - we have taken one cruise and several trips to Florida (at least) - but I just didn't have the energy to blog it.)
Our first trip (this time) is to Arizona see our first great grandchild, and on the way stop at a number of national parks and meander through a lot of the southwest. We leave tomorrow, so stay tuned.
